- Story -

A trip to the Big City began as well as any trip could have...

See the Central Fountain... go fishing at the Wharf... and eat street food at the Outdoor Market.

Both your sheep companion and yourself were tuckered out.  All that was left was to head back to the hotel.

Things were going swimmingly until a chance encounter with a Mafia Don.  He decided your sheep looked like a lovely little sheep in need of a new owner!

With your companion ripped out of your hands and surrounded by thugs, the Mafia Don in the Black Suit and Tie rode away on a passing train.

Only one thing left to do, fight your way across the city to find your stolen companion and make them pay!

Skills and Stats Galore!

Various techniques to Punch, Kick and Throw your way through swarms of gangsters.  Every skill can be improved, making it a stronger skill with use.  Every action is counted and levelable.

Discoverable Skills

Find a homeless man in a tunnel?  Does he know Karate?  Maybe! Will he teach you?  For a few coins and a hug he just might! All his street fighting martial knowledge could be yours!  Hidden knowledge is around every corner.

Customize-able Combos

Chain together any set of skills to best suit your play style.  Like to have a punch, kick, throw-up on your enemy combo?  Stack together skills to create a new combo. Some skills apply effects to enemies, combos allow you to build a stack of effects, Oh right... should mention that next...

Intimidation

Use learned intimidation techniques to Scare, Startle, Intimidate, Enrage, Disgust or Attract your enemies!  Using Intimidations in combos will apply buffs/debuffs to enemies, allowing you to deal with the plethora of enemies trying to punch your face.

Intimidation Techniques will allow you pacifist gamers to neigh throw a punch, if you do it right.  Or kick a hornets nest if done wrong!  Actions have reactions, some enemies may not be enemies for long if they happen to enjoy your actions.  Using Intimidations against enemies may increase your standing, or just as easily decrease your standing with their faction.

Become Infamous

It might be your ability to smell terrible, maybe its the way you insult a fellow human or it could just be the way you blow kisses, but either way people will take notice of you and remember that one time under the bridge where you cleared the area due to a vile act! Reputations live or die by your actions.

Intimidations cause people to remember you.  Scaring someone over and over might cause them to not be so scared of you anymore.  Disgusting someone every time you see them, might make them throw up on sight. Your actions will cause people to react to you.

Make Friends

See a man whom may enjoy a back rub?  Give him what he WANTS!  Using Intimidation Techniques, turn your enemies into assets.  Make enough friends and maybe the Gang will just help you out of a tight spot.

Make a gang member remember you and the next time he lines up to fight, he might think twice and run away.  He might remember the tight hug you gave him and the warm fuzzy feeling, causing him to switch sides and attack his own.  Actions have effects, hopefully you choose correctly.

FAME!

Ever wanted people to say, "Whoa that's the guy who got a trillion points on DuckMan!" or "Hey is that the dude who caught eighty-nine fish in under a minute in FishAid?"... what, these not impressing enough for you?  FINE!, have you ever wanted to be known as the guy who successfully found all the underpants vending machines in the city, then wrote a blog about it and now people know where to get some clean undies?  You can be THAT guy! (no blog posting will had in this game...but you can be known for collecting things to the extreme!)

Achievements gain you Fame, Fame earns you err... stuff.  Sometimes that stuff is a simple comment, sometimes its free STUFF.  Sometimes its an option to not get your face smashed in by a group of ruffians cause they all like to play DuckMan and you are the high score leader.  Who said playing games is a waste of time, in this game it gets you a high-five. Maybe. Maybe it gets you everything you ever wanted.

Features

- The City -

Big Trouble contains three districts full of Thugs, Shops, Challenges and Bars to discover.  Each area is run by gangs who need to learn a thing or two about how to treat a visitor to their city.

Shops

Shops are the lifeblood of any city, Big Trouble contains dozens of shops selling all kinds of goods.  Feel like sitting at a counter and eating a Kabob?  How about enjoying a cold Beer? Chill at shop or take it to go its up to you!

Each Item will provide some benefit, it might increase your strength, it could possibly make your breath stinky.  It could even give you super powers, who knows, I sure don't.

Shops are a good way to increase your skills, stats and enjoyment of the area.

Mini Games

What would the city be if you didn't have other things to do in it besides fight and eat?  Try your hand at some Fishing or play some pachinko.  Find a group of people destroying cars?  Why not join them and see if you can do it faster? Challenges, Arcades and Activities are a key aspect to gaining notoriety.

Minigames scattered around the city earn you Fame, get noticed for being the best at crane games, maybe be known for one punching exploding cars. By earning fame you might just get the attention of people who matter.

Collectables

Find all the vending machines in the city and buy them out of everything, as one does.  Collect stuff, hidden in the city are different items of value to the right people.  Some more valuable than others, but beauty is in the eye of the buyer.  Collecting items adds to your Fame, people notice a guy who is buying all of the items from all of the vending machines every time right?

District: Shim-Bashi

- Districts -

A lovely place to work and live, Shim-Bashi is an area filled with things to do, eat and see.  Centered around a park and Near a river, Shim-Bashi is a great place for tourists to make their home base.

Hotels in Shim-Bashi Center house those tourists that want a central location in the city.  Bars and entertainment can be found in Old-Shim-Bashi.  Keep an eye out in Hidary Alley and Migi Alley, each is the territory to rival gangs The Blue Crabs and the Alkaline Rounders, though each alley is full of places to visit.

District: Breakwater

Located on the sea, Breakwater is a boardwalk filled with Industrial Warehouses, Seafood markets and Shipping.  Looking for good seafood, head to the Rounders Fish Market or the Flying Fish Fishery.  Be weary and keep your guard up as each are run by local Gangs, but taste that lovely meat of the sea!

Visit the venders walk outside the Train Station for nick-knacks, hit up the boardwalk for street food and beat your way into any of the gang run warehouses for ANSWERS!

Feel like crushing some metal scraps? Head to the scrapyard and see if they will let you run the crane.  Ever seen a Mega Ship up close?  No?  Head to the shipyard to amble on board.

District: Down Town

Home to most of the large corporations in the city, Down Town is full of skyscrapers and business suits.  Eat at some corner shops, try to not get run over be traffic and make an impression on the board of directors by beating your way through the corporate ladder.

Home to the notorious Black Tie Gang, from their towers they rule the city with a calm demeanor.  Don't be fooled into thinking it will be a walk in the park though, money buys strength in this city.

Harboring vagrants, seedy shops in alleyways and the overall rush of people, Down Town is not a place many tourists enjoy.  Bath houses, upscale restaurants and expensive luxuries line the main streets, but hidden away in the nooks and crannies between the large buildings lives the real wheeling and dealing establishments.
